Leigh House   - a 'House of Gentry Status'


Leigh House, a Grade II* listed building, is a Jacobean manor house probably finished being built in 1617. By the time the Henley family sold the house in the early 20th century it had acquired Victorian and Edwardian extensions which carefully copied the original mullion-windowed, ham stone building.
