Centenary Celebration of the Winsham Coronation Silver Band 1902-2002
The Winsham Band was a major institution in the village from the start of the last century. Times change and in recent years the numbers in the band have declined. Children growing up in the world of mass media and information technology have lost interest, and no longer followed their parents into the Band. Nonetheless, the remaining members did celebrate the Centenary in some style with a party and exhibition at the Jubilee Hall in June 2002.
